Editor's note: there's an interesting correspondence here. For Rudolph Steiner, another great mystic and visionary, also made a similar prediction to Edgar Cayce’s. Quite independently and maybe even before Cayce, Steiner was saying much the same about the very same country. Its capitol city would become the next " Rome ", he said. In effect it would become civilisation's centre of gravity in the third millennium but this would only come about after much upheaval and tribulation. Ed.


Edgar Cayce was born in 1877 and died in 1945. During his life he became known as the sleeping psychic. For forty-three years he demonstrated the remarkable ability to put himself into a self-induced trance by lying down on a couch and closing his eyes. From this altered state he could respond to a diverse spectrum of questions.

His responses came to be called "readings" and contained insights so valuable that even to this day individuals have found practical help for everything from maintaining a well-balanced diet and improving relationships to overcoming life-threatening illnesses and experiencing a closer walk with God. Although Cayce died more than sixty years ago, the timeliness of the material in his readings is evidenced by approximately one dozen biographies and more than 300 titles that discuss various aspects of his life and work.

Cayce made one prediction in particular which has drawn tremendous skepticism and doubt from the limited thinking that prevailed in the world during his life and continued long after his death. Humanity has never understood this amazing prediction and today the majority of people still cannot accept it.

The prophetic words that he uttered from his trance state were, “Through Russia , comes the hope of the world.” One can only imagine the furor that arose from such a simple truth, which came during the height of American fear of Communism and Bolshevism, a prediction made at a time when Russia was seen as the enemy of all things materialistic and good. Of course this statement was used to disqualify Cayce’s tremendous knowledge and understanding. It is always society’s way to reject that, which doesn’t fit into our narrow understanding of how we think things ought to be.

And so it was and has been since that day that Cayce made his simple and yet devastating prognostication about the future thinking that would prevail on the earth. It would not be America that would be the hope of the world, but instead it would be Russia . How could this be, and how could any country ever surpass America in the area of freedom and hope?

America didn’t remain the land of hope and freedom that it was fifty years ago. It has changed, and over the past 35 years American leaders have become the single greatest purveyors of terrorist acts on the planet. The US government or their CIA trained mercenary forces have used terror-bombing campaigns against unarmed civilian populations in many countries. America has participated in destroying churches, hospitals, schools, houses, hotels, farms, and factories, and other nonmilitary targets. America has killed millions in Laos, Cambodia, Korea, the Congo, East Timor, Panama, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Mozambique, Somalia, Angola, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and numerous other countries.

In dozens of countries where democratic movements threatened the power of American corporations to exploit the native populations, U.S. leaders have used death squad terrorism to successfully eliminate social and democratic reform.

Although America has been steadily drifting away form its values and morals for many years, its past transgressions pale in comparison to the madness that now grips the nation. After George W. Bush and his megalomaniacle regime usurped the reigns of power in an utterly rigged 2000 election they quickly transformed the nation that once stood for 'freedom' and 'justice' into a nation based on greed, violence, and death.

In their blood soaked quest for power and profit the neocon gang is slaughtering America ’s young people and hundreds of thousands of innocent men women and children in Iraq , Afghanistan and around the world.

The neocons and their corporate masters intend nothing less than the total subjugation of humanity in what could only be described as a fascist military industrial hell state, similar to the one described by George Orwell in his prophetic novel - '1984'. This gang of corporations and politicians, which have stolen America, see their own people as mere cattle to be used, lied to, and exploited, cattle to be fed into an endless meat grinder of "never ending war", for power and profit.

Since their theft of America they have committed innumerable war crimes and broken virtually every one of the Geneva Conventions through the use of torture and murder of civilians on a grand scale. They have used banned weapons such as cluster bombs and white phosphorus. They have committed crimes for which there are not yet laws written, crimes against the earth and the environment.

The Bush regime has spread over 1,000 metric tons of the deadly U238-isotope, America ’s nuclear waste, over Iraq and Afghanistan , making childhood leukemia and spontaneous abortions commonplace, dooming the people of both countries to endless suffering and premature death.

The neocon's uranium weapons are thermoplastic in nature, which means the substance ignites on impact. When it burns it changes into a fine radioactive dust, which migrates into the ground water and is taken up into the air and blown by the wind. The deadly airborne U238-isotope is circulated by the jet stream and distributed over the surface of the earth. It threatens humanity with what scientists describe as “democide” and “omnicide”, the annihilation of the human species and all species on the planet. The monsters are contaminating the eco system with depleted uranium with full knowledge of its destructive potential.

The regime is aware that they are committing numerous war crimes and violations of the Geneva Conventions. Bush had his personal Texas lawyer at the time, Alberto Gonzales, draw up a memorandum which supposedly absolves them of any wrong doing. Gonzales stated: "In my judgment, this new paradigm renders obsolete Geneva 's strict limitations on questioning of enemy prisoners and renders quaint some of its provisions."

This isn't the first time that a murderous regime has sought to negate and marginalize the Geneva Conventions. In 1941, General-Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel, the head of Hitler's Wehrmacht- Defense force, formulated an identical argument against recognizing the rights of Soviet soldiers under Geneva Convention laws. During his testimony at the Nuremberg trials, Keitel also called the Geneva Convention laws "obsolete", a statement which weighed heavily with U.S. prosecutors who cited it as an aggravating circumstance in seeking and obtaining the death penalty for Keitel in 1946.

According to the America of 1946, a war criminal that remorselessly justified his murderous actions by denigrating and disregarding the Geneva Conventions deserved to be executed. In Bush’s America , which more resembles, World War two Nazi Germany , The regime doesn’t see people who disregard the Geneva Conventions as war criminals, they promote them. After Alberto Gonzales drew up his bogus memorandum Bush appointed him to the office of Attorney General.

Ironically, the nation who’s republican president Ronald Reagan, once called Russia “The evil empire”, has constructed hundreds of torture prisons around the globe in a quest to terrorize and brutalize humanity into submission. America under the Bush regime is the embodiment of the most evil empire ever to plague humanity.

Now all the countries of the world lie prostrate at the feet of the Bush regime, completely subdued and terrified by America ’s military might. Even China, which once maintained its independence from American control has become a docile satellite of the true ‘evil empire’

Now there are hundreds of American corporations located in China using the Chinese people like slaves. China has also lent America billions of dollars to help pay for the neocon’s scheme of world domination. China needs to keep the American empire economically strong if they want to be paid back. There are hundreds of Wallmart stores located in China bleeding the Chinese economy. China is bound to the American empire and subservient to the neocons.

China has only a handful of nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles and one nuclear submarine. Though China has an army of about 2.3 million soldiers, they are highly concentrated and America could easily eliminate them with a small nuclear strike.

In stark contrast, there are no Wallmarts in Russia . Russia will never allow American corporations to enslave them and bleed them as China and the rest of the foolish world has done. Russia has neither lent money to America nor borrowed money from America .

The buck always stops in Russia for every ‘would be’ world dictator. Bush and his brutal regime can only try to conquer the Slavic peoples by force as Emperor Napoleon and Führer Hitler attempted to do. Without control of Russia the ' New World Order' is only the 'New Half a World Order'.

Russia, which has been falsely labeled by the corporate American media as a ‘collapsed country’, possesses the largest concentration of wealth and natural resources on the planet: 13% of the world's oil reserves, 32% of the world's natural gas, the largest coal reserves at 30%, and the world's largest iron ore output at 101,400 Mt per year. Russia is the world's leader in aluminum production and the leader in tin, titanium, tantalum, niobium, and Rare Earths mining. Russia possesses one third of the worlds gold reserves, 10.2% of the world's platinum, and 50% of the world's diamond reserves. Russia builds and exports all forms of machines from rolling mills to high-performance aircraft and space vehicles, ships, trains, automobiles, communications equipment, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, electric power generating equipment, medical and scientific instruments, consumer durables, textiles, and foodstuffs.

At 17,075,400 sq km Russia is twice the landmass of all fifty United States and is the largest country on earth. Russia has 20% of the world's supply of unfrozen unpolluted fresh water In lake Baikal alone, and The Siberian region contains the largest forested area on earth, an estimated 750 million hectares.

Russia maintains 1,520,000 total active duty military personnel with 78.2% army, 13.2% navy and 8.6% air force. In 2002 Russia let it be known that they are capable of fielding an army of 38,906,796 men, age 15-49. In addition to their ability to fight a massive tactical war Russia also has 6,000 strategic nuclear warheads, most of which are deployed on MIRVed land-based missiles aimed at the U.S. . Russia also possesses a huge fleet of nuclear submarines capable of nuking America into oblivion from the oceans of the planet.

Since Bush stole office in 2000, the Russians have been under no illusions about the neocons and their plan to dominate the earth both economically and militarily. The Russian people will never bend to the neocons, and Russia is now the only country left on the planet with the capability and the will to resist America .

Although Russia ’s wise and crafty president Putin, appears to be friendly with Bush, his actions speak far louder than his words. Were it not for Russia , America would already have rolled over the planet and enslaved its inhabitants. Because Russia is supplying the countries of the world with the weapons they need to defend themselves against America , it has not been possible for the neocons to crush, kill, and destroy, the defenseless as they have wished.

Were it not for Russia , America would have easily destroyed the Iraqis and stolen their oil. Russia has provided the Iraqi people with night-vision goggles, radar-jamming equipment, rocket-propelled grenade launchers (RPGs), Dragonov sniper rifles, the famous Russian AK47 battle rifle, the DShK Soviet 12.7mm Heavy Machine Gun, and many other weapons and literally tons of ammunition.

Israel, America’s murderous little friend, would have destroyed the Lebanese people were it not for the Russian made Metis-M, Sagger AT-3, Spigot AT-4 and the Kornet AT-14 missiles, which Lebanon used quite effectively to devastate Israeli tanks and helicopters.

When the Bush regime openly stated their intention to kill Hugo Chavez, (the democratically elected president of Venezuela ) and seize the oil assets of the Venezuelan people, it appeared that no country would dare oppose the empire and come to Venezuela ’s defense. Though Venezuela had a large army of nearly one million citizens willing to fight in the defense of their country they had no weapons.

Russia and president Putin, stepped forward and sold Venezuela 100,000 AK-103 assault rifles and agreed to help Venezuela construct a factory to produce more of the rifles, and a factory to manufacture 7.62 mm ammunition for their new rifles. Russia also agreed to the delivery of 38, Mi-17V-5 helicopter gun ships, and Mi-35M fire-support helicopters, as well as an agreement for the supply of Su-30MK2 multipurpose fighters planes.

It will be impossible for the American regime to slaughter the Venezuelan people and steal from them now. It will be impossible for American corporations to enter Venezuela and enslave its people.

As the 'evil empire' tries to move forward killing, stealing, and enslaving, they will meet with resistance at every turn because there is one country that will help the defenseless and the weak of the world, and that country is Russia. “Through Russia , comes the hope of the world.”
