This is an outstanding explanation. Anyone can follow it by focusing. I read a book many years ago about the actual safety of nuclear power plants, built correctly. Note that the galactics for years have stopped nuclear war stuff but not power plants, of which there are probably at least hundreds worldwide. Thank you, Mark!

This is from my office manager Ann, whose husband Steve works at Los Alamos National Lab. It's a long narrative but very interesting concerning the catastrophe in Japan.


I am writing this text (Mar 12) to give you some peace of mind regarding some of the troubles in Japan, that is the safety of Japan's nuclear reactors. Up front, the situation is serious, but under control. And this text is long! But you will know more about nuclear power plants after reading it than all journalists on this planet put together.
There was and will *not* be any significant release of radioactivity.
By "significant" I mean a level of radiation of more than what you would receive on - say - a long distance flight, or drinking a glass of beer that comes from certain areas with high levels of natural background radiation.
I have been reading every news release on the incident since the earthquake. There has not been one single (!) report that was accurate and free of errors (and part of that problem is also a weakness in the Japanese crisis communication). By "not free of errors" I do not refer to tendentious anti-nuclear journalism - that is quite normal these days. By "not free of errors" I mean blatant errors regarding physics and natural law, as well as gross misinterpretation of facts, due to an obvious lack of fundamental and basic understanding of the way nuclear reactors are build and operated. I have read a 3 page report on CNN where every single paragraph contained an error.
We will have to cover some fundamentals, before we get into what is going on.
Construction of the Fukushima nuclear power plants
The plants at Fukushima are so called Boiling Water Reactors, or BWR for short. Boiling Water Reactors are similar to a pressure cooker. The nuclear fuel heats water, the water boils and creates steam, the steam then drives turbines that create the electricity, and the steam is then cooled and condensed back to water, and the water send back to be heated by the nuclear fuel. The pressure cooker operates at about 250 °C.
The nuclear fuel is uranium oxide. Uranium oxide is a ceramic with a very high melting point of about 3000 °C. The fuel is manufactured in pellets (think little cylinders the size of Lego bricks). Those pieces are then put into a long tube made of Zircaloy with a melting point of 2200 °C, and sealed tight. The assembly is called a fuel rod. These fuel rods are then put together to form larger packages, and a number of these packages are then put into the reactor. All these packages together are referred to as "the core".
The Zircaloy casing is the first containment. It separates the radioactive fuel from the rest of the world.
The core is then placed in the "pressure vessels". That is the pressure cooker we talked about before. The pressure vessels is the second containment. This is one sturdy piece of a pot, designed to safely contain the core for temperatures several hundred °C. That covers the scenarios where cooling can be restored at some point.
The entire "hardware" of the nuclear reactor - the pressure vessel and all pipes, pumps, coolant (water) reserves, are then encased in the third containment. The third containment is a hermetically (air tight) sealed, very thick bubble of the strongest steel and concrete. The third containment is designed, built and tested for one single purpose: To contain, indefinitely, a complete core meltdown. For that purpose, a large and thick concrete basin is cast under the pressure vessel (the second containment), all inside the third containment. This is the so-called "core catcher". If the core melts and the pressure vessel bursts (and eventually melts), it will catch the molten fuel and everything else. It is typically built in such a way that the nuclear fuel will be spread out, so it can cool down.
This third containment is then surrounded by the reactor building. The reactor building is an outer shell that is supposed to keep the weather out, but nothing in. (this is the part that was damaged in the explosion, but more to that later).
Fundamentals of nuclear reactions
The uranium fuel generates heat by nuclear fission. Big uranium atoms are split into smaller atoms. That generates heat plus neutrons (one of the particles that forms an atom). When the neutron hits another uranium atom, that splits, generating more neutrons and so on. That is called the nuclear chain reaction.
Now, just packing a lot of fuel rods next to each other would quickly lead to overheating and after about 45 minutes to a melting of the fuel rods. It is worth mentioning at this point that the nuclear fuel in a reactor can *never* cause a nuclear explosion the type of a nuclear bomb. Building a nuclear bomb is actually quite difficult (ask Iran). In Chernobyl, the explosion was caused by excessive pressure buildup, hydrogen explosion and rupture of all containments, propelling molten core material into the environment (a "dirty bomb"). Why that did not and will not happen in Japan, further below.
In order to control the nuclear chain reaction, the reactor operators use so-called "control rods". The control rods absorb the neutrons and kill the chain reaction instantaneously. A nuclear reactor is built in such a way, that when operating normally, you take out all the control rods. The coolant water then takes away the heat (and converts it into steam and electricity) at the same rate as the core produces it. And you have a lot of leeway around the standard operating point of 250°C.
The challenge is that after inserting the rods and stopping the chain reaction, the core still keeps producing heat. The uranium "stopped" the chain reaction. But a number of intermediate radioactive elements are created by the uranium during its fission process, most notably Cesium and Iodine isotopes, i.e. radioactive versions of these elements that will eventually split up into smaller atoms and not be radioactive anymore. Those elements keep decaying and producing heat. Because they are not regenerated any longer from the uranium (the uranium stopped decaying after the control rods were put in), they get less and less, and so the core cools down over a matter of days, until those intermediate radioactive elements are used up.
This residual heat is causing the headaches right now.
So the first "type" of radioactive material is the uranium in the fuel rods, plus the intermediate radioactive elements that the uranium splits into, also inside the fuel rod (Cesium and Iodine).
There is a second type of radioactive material created, outside the fuel rods. The big main difference up front: Those radioactive materials have a very short half-life, that means that they decay very fast and split into non-radioactive materials. By fast I mean seconds. So if these radioactive materials are released into the environment, yes, radioactivity was released, but no, it is not dangerous, at all. Why? By the time you spelled "R-A-D-I-O-N-U-C-L-I-D-E", they will be harmless, because they will have split up into non radioactive elements. Those radioactive elements are N-16, the radioactive isotope (or version) of nitrogen (air). The others are noble gases such as Argon. But where do they come from? When the uranium splits, it generates a neutron (see above). Most of these neutrons will hit other uranium atoms and keep the nuclear chain reaction going. But some will leave the fuel rod and hit the water molecules, or the air that is in the water. Then, a non-radioactive element can "capture" the neutron. It becomes radioactive. As described above, it will quickly (seconds) get rid again of the neutron to return to its former beautiful self.
This second "type" of radiation is very important when we talk about the radioactivity being released into the environment later on.
What happened at Fukushima
I will try to summarize the main facts. The earthquake that hit Japan was 5 times more powerful than the worst earthquake the nuclear power plant was built for (the Richter scale works logarithmically; the difference between the 8.2 that the plants were built for and the 8.9 that happened is 5 times, not 0.7). So the first hooray for Japanese engineering, everything held up.
When the earthquake hit with 8.9, the nuclear reactors all went into automatic shutdown. Within seconds after the earthquake started, the control rods had been inserted into the core and nuclear chain reaction of the uranium stopped. Now, the cooling system has to carry away the residual heat. The residual heat load is about 3% of the heat load under normal operating conditions.
The earthquake destroyed the external power supply of the nuclear reactor. That is one of the most serious accidents for a nuclear power plant, and accordingly, a "plant black out" receives a lot of attention when designing backup systems. The power is needed to keep the coolant pumps working. Since the power plant had been shut down, it cannot produce any electricity by itself any more.
Things were going well for an hour. One set of multiple sets of emergency Diesel power generators kicked in and provided the electricity that was needed. Then the Tsunami came, much bigger than people had expected when building the power plant (see above, factor 7). The tsunami took out all multiple sets of backup Diesel generators.
When designing a nuclear power plant, engineers follow a philosophy called "Defense of Depth". That means that you first build everything to withstand the worst catastrophe you can imagine, and then design the plant in such a way that it can still handle one system failure (that you thought could never happen) after the other. A tsunami taking out all backup power in one swift strike is such a scenario. The last line of defense is putting everything into the third containment (see above), that will keep everything, whatever the mess, control rods in our out, core molten or not, inside the reactor.
When the diesel generators were gone, the reactor operators switched to emergency battery power. The batteries were designed as one of the backups to the backups, to provide power for cooling the core for 8 hours. And they did.
Within the 8 hours, another power source had to be found and connected to the power plant. The power grid was down due to the earthquake. The diesel generators were destroyed by the tsunami. So mobile diesel generators were trucked in.
This is where things started to go seriously wrong. The external power generators could not be connected to the power plant (the plugs did not fit). So after the batteries ran out, the residual heat could not be carried away any more.
At this point the plant operators begin to follow emergency procedures that are in place for a "loss of cooling event". It is again a step along the "Depth of Defense" lines. The power to the cooling systems should never have failed completely, but it did, so they "retreat" to the next line of defense. All of this, however shocking it seems to us, is part of the day-to-day training you go through as an operator, right through to managing a core meltdown.
It was at this stage that people started to talk about core meltdown. Because at the end of the day, if cooling cannot be restored, the core will eventually melt (after hours or days), and the last line of defense, the core catcher and third containment, would come into play.
But the goal at this stage was to manage the core while it was heating up, and ensure that the first containment (the Zircaloy tubes that contains the nuclear fuel), as well as the second containment (our pressure cooker) remain intact and operational for as long as possible, to give the engineers time to fix the cooling systems.
Because cooling the core is such a big deal, the reactor has a number of cooling systems, each in multiple versions (the reactor water cleanup system, the decay heat removal, the reactor core isolating cooling, the standby liquid cooling system, and the emergency core cooling system). Which one failed when or did not fail is not clear at this point in time.
So imagine our pressure cooker on the stove, heat on low, but on. The operators use whatever cooling system capacity they have to get rid of as much heat as possible, but the pressure starts building up. The priority now is to maintain integrity of the first containment (keep temperature of the fuel rods below 2200°C), as well as the second containment, the pressure cooker. In order to maintain integrity of the pressure cooker (the second containment), the pressure has to be released from time to time. Because the ability to do that in an emergency is so important, the reactor has 11 pressure release valves. The operators now started venting steam from time to time to control the pressure. The temperature at this stage was about 550°C.
This is when the reports about "radiation leakage" starting coming in. I believe I explained above why venting the steam is theoretically the same as releasing radiation into the environment, but why it was and is not dangerous. The radioactive nitrogen as well as the noble gases do not pose a threat to human health.
At some stage during this venting, the explosion occurred. The explosion took place outside of the third containment (our "last line of defense"), and the reactor building. Remember that the reactor building has no function in keeping the radioactivity contained. It is not entirely clear yet what has happened, but this is the likely scenario: The operators decided to vent the steam from the pressure vessel not directly into the environment, but into the space between the third containment and the reactor building (to give the radioactivity in the steam more time to subside). The problem is that at the high temperatures that the core had reached at this stage, water molecules can "disassociate" into oxygen and hydrogen - an explosive mixture. And it did explode, outside the third containment, damaging the reactor building around. It was that sort of explosion, but inside the pressure vessel (because it was badly designed and not managed properly by the operators) that lead to the explosion of Chernobyl. This was never a risk at Fukushima. The problem of hydrogen-oxygen formation is one of the biggies when you design a power plant (if you are not Soviet, that is), so the reactor is build and operated in a way it cannot happen inside the containment. It happened outside, which was not intended but a possible scenario and OK, because it did not pose a risk for the containment.
So the pressure was under control, as steam was vented. Now, if you keep boiling your pot, the problem is that the water level will keep falling and falling. The core is covered by several meters of water in order to allow for some time to pass (hours, days) before it gets exposed. Once the rods start to be exposed at the top, the exposed parts will reach the critical temperature of 2200 °C after about 45 minutes. This is when the first containment, the Zircaloy tube, would fail.
And this started to happen. The cooling could not be restored before there was some (very limited, but still) damage to the casing of some of the fuel. The nuclear material itself was still intact, but the surrounding Zircaloy shell had started melting. What happened now is that some of the byproducts of the uranium decay - radioactive Cesium and Iodine - started to mix with the steam. The big problem, uranium, was still under control, because the uranium oxide rods were good until 3000 °C. It is confirmed that a very small amount of Cesium and Iodine was measured in the steam that was released into the atmosphere.
It seems this was the "go signal" for a major plan B. The small amounts of Cesium that were measured told the operators that the first containment on one of the rods somewhere was about to give. The Plan A had been to restore one of the regular cooling systems to the core. Why that failed is unclear. One plausible explanation is that the tsunami also took away / polluted all the clean water needed for the regular cooling systems.
The water used in the cooling system is very clean, demineralized (like distilled) water. The reason to use pure water is the above mentioned activation by the neutrons from the Uranium: Pure water does not get activated much, so stays practically radioactive-free. Dirt or salt in the water will absorb the neutrons quicker, becoming more radioactive. This has no effect whatsoever on the core - it does not care what it is cooled by. But it makes life more difficult for the operators and mechanics when they have to deal with activated (i.e. slightly radioactive) water.
But Plan A had failed - cooling systems down or additional clean water unavailable - so Plan B came into effect. This is what it looks like happened:
In order to prevent a core meltdown, the operators started to use sea water to cool the core. I am not quite sure if they flooded our pressure cooker with it (the second containment), or if they flooded the third containment, immersing the pressure cooker. But that is not relevant for us.
The point is that the nuclear fuel has now been cooled down. Because the chain reaction has been stopped a long time ago, there is only very little residual heat being produced now. The large amount of cooling water that has been used is sufficient to take up that heat. Because it is a lot of water, the core does not produce sufficient heat any more to produce any significant pressure. Also, boric acid has been added to the seawater. Boric acid is "liquid control rod". Whatever decay is still going on, the Boron will capture the neutrons and further speed up the cooling down of the core.
The plant came close to a core meltdown. Here is the worst-case scenario that was avoided: If the seawater could not have been used for treatment, the operators would have continued to vent the water steam to avoid pressure buildup. The third containment would then have been completely sealed to allow the core meltdown to happen without releasing radioactive material. After the meltdown, there would have been a waiting period for the intermediate radioactive materials to decay inside the reactor, and all radioactive particles to settle on a surface inside the containment. The cooling system would have been restored eventually, and the molten core cooled to a manageable temperature. The containment would have been cleaned up on the inside. Then a messy job of removing the molten core from the containment would have begun, packing the (now solid again) fuel bit by bit into transportation containers to be shipped to processing plants. Depending on the damage, the block of the plant would then either be repaired or dismantled.
Now, where does that leave us? My assessment:
* The plant is safe now and will stay safe.
* Japan is looking at an INES Level 4 Accident: Nuclear accident with local consequences. That is bad for the company that owns the plant, but not for anyone else.
* Some radiation was released when the pressure vessel was vented. All radioactive isotopes from the activated steam have gone (decayed). A very small amount of Cesium was released, as well as Iodine. If you were sitting on top of the plants' chimney when they were venting, you should probably give up smoking to return to your former life expectancy. The Cesium and Iodine isotopes were carried out to the sea and will never be seen again.
* There was some limited damage to the first containment. That means that some amounts of radioactive Cesium and Iodine will also be released into the cooling water, but no Uranium or other nasty stuff (the Uranium oxide does not "dissolve" in the water). There are facilities for treating the cooling water inside the third containment. The radioactive Cesium and Iodine will be removed there and eventually stored as radioactive waste in terminal storage.
* The seawater used as cooling water will be activated to some degree. Because the control rods are fully inserted, the Uranium chain reaction is not happening. That means the "main" nuclear reaction is not happening, thus not contributing to the activation. The intermediate radioactive materials (Cesium and Iodine) are also almost gone at this stage, because the Uranium decay was stopped a long time ago. This further reduces the activation. The bottom line is that there will be some low level of activation of the seawater, which will also be removed by the treatment facilities.
* The seawater will then be replaced over time with the "normal" cooling water
* The reactor core will then be dismantled and transported to a processing facility, just like during a regular fuel change.
* Fuel rods and the entire plant will be checked for potential damage. This will take about 4-5 years.
* The safety systems on all Japanese plants will be upgraded to withstand a 9.0 earthquake and tsunami (or worse)
* (Updated) I believe the most significant problem will be a prolonged power shortage. 11 of Japan's 55 nuclear reactors in different plants were shut down and will have to be inspected, directly reducing the nation's nuclear power generating capacity by 20%, with nuclear power accounting for about 30% of the national total power generation capacity. I have not looked into possible consequences for other nuclear plants not directly affected. This will probably be covered by running gas power plants that are usually only used for peak loads to cover some of the base load as well. I am not familiar with Japan's energy supply chain for oil, gas and coal, and what damage the harbors, refinery, storage and transportation networks have suffered, as well as damage to the national distribution grid. All of that will increase your electricity bill, as well as lead to power shortages during peak demand and reconstruction efforts, in Japan.
* This all is only part of a much bigger picture. Emergency response has to deal with shelter, drinking water, food and medical care, transportation and communication infrastructure, as well as electricity supply. In a world of lean supply chains, we are looking at some major challenges in all of these areas.

Our New Civilization Will Be Based on Torsion Field Technologies by Ed Komarek Posted: 12:00 August 19, 2009 Our global civilization for the past 200 years has been founded upon and based on conventional materials and electrical and magnetic technologies. Almost everything we use today is based on electrical circuits and magnetism. Our homes use electrical current and circuits for lighting, heating, cooking while our communication and transportation systems all rely on electrical and magnetic fields. In the 1700s, back in the horse and buggy days, static electricity and lightning were anomalous strange and unusual unexplained phenomena. The people at the time had no idea that in a mere couple of hundred years, knowledge of these electrical phenomena would completely transform human civilization on earth. People in ancient times also witnessed other strange and unusual anomalous phenomena associated with UFOs and extraterrestrials. Some of this knowledge was communicated first in pictographs on cave walls, then to clay vessels and later after the invention of writing into historical texts in clay and on paper. Still UFOs and extraterrestrials were misunderstood and an impossible enigma for mankind to unravel until recently. But now in the past 60 years we are beginning to understand this extraterrestrial enigma and are beginning to realize that humanity has historic and genetic roots in other more technologically advanced civilizations with which we co-exist but are largely unaware. The reason we are unaware of these more advanced civilizations is that these civilizations are based on nanotechnology and torsion field technologies. The citizens of these civilizations choose to observe and interact with us using these technologies making them largely invisible to us. For instance these civilizations seem to use time compression and other torsion technologies to place themselves in the technologically advantageous situation by speeding up their time in relation to our time. In a sense we are placed in stasis of very slow time in relation to their activities so as to almost be at a standstill in relation to them. In this manner their activities and actions are too quick for us to observe or to affect them. Its only when the extraterrestrial activity slows down for one reason or another that we can observe their activities. Our civilization has now progressed to the point where we are becoming technologically advanced enough to begin to observe and understand anomalous aerial objects as spacecraft with real extraterrestrial occupants. We are beginning to understand the physics involved and how the propulsion systems of the craft operate. All this in turn leads us to begin to understand the technological basis of the civilizations that fly these spacecraft. There will be plenty of folks who will outline the challenges that lie ahead. I would therefore like to try to outline some of the benefits of a rapid transition to a more advanced civilization based on torsion technological principles. I think we need to embrace change rather than fear it. We need to ensure a balanced conversation in the years ahead. I have been following developments in the "New Physics" for many years in a sporadic way. I have interfaced with Dr. Jack Sarfatti's Internet physics network since the mid 1990s where these developments have been discussed in a technical manner. My interest accelerated when I had many long phone discussions and email exchanges with scientist Ray Stanford who is sitting on a mountain of scientific data proving the existence of these torsion technologies in regards to anomalous aerial objects. I think the terms torsion, or spin field physics, gives us this unified concept that I have been trying to find and understand as a layman. Richard tells me he has been on to Torsion Physics for over ten years and seems to be one of the few people in public besides Ray Stanford who realize that Torsion Physics forms the basis of extraterrestrial civilizations now interacting with us. Richard says, "Enterprise has been investigating HD/Torsion Physics for over a decade. I have been discussing it almost nightly on Coast to Coast AM." We even have an extensive survey of the field -- including our own work (up to 2007) -- published in "Dark Mission, The Secret History of NASA," Chapter Two." Richard Hoagland further states in a email to me in response to a rough draft of this article that I sent to him for comment. Richard says, "One last point: the "black" world has been secretly using torsion-based Physics and technologies for decades (how do you think their ships fly ..?); they simply do NOT want this Physics and technology known or researched in the so-called, "white world"; in fact, one source specifically told me (about a year ago ...) that they "would rather lose a major American city to nuclear terrorism ... than give up this technology!" The relevance being, torsion physics can stop nuclear processes COLD ... and, from a remote distance -- thus ELIMINATING any and all "nuclear threats." This also applies, of course, to any incoming nuclear warheads ... N. Korean missiles ... terrorist cargo containers ... home-made bombs, etc., etc. Because of our confirmation of a laboratory source of torsion field energy, we can now test ALL these claims ourselves at Enterprise and are in the process of extensively testing the first bona fide Torsion Generator we have found, the implications are simply overwhelming. In other words, you haven't gone NEARLY far enough in the implications of the kind of planet we COULD have ... if "they" wanted us to have it." " End quote. Let me give some examples as to how torsion technologies may revolutionize society. Anybody studying the torsion literature can think up many more examples for themselves. Remember folks I am just getting started researching the possibilities inherent in Torsion Physics with this my first article on this subject. Today we use an electrical motor and a compressor to run freezers and refrigerators to preserve food, specimens and other things like genetic material. Freezing and refrigeration slows down bacterial processes that spoil food by lowering the temperature. A stasis chamber using a torsion generator would put the food or other material in a much slower time in relation to our time. Perhaps only seconds would elapse with the material in the chamber while days; months years would have passed outside of the chamber. So the food or other material would stay fresh in relation to our time and our activities. Think about how a stasis chamber and generator could be used in the medical profession. A traumatized individual at the scene of an accident or crime could be put in stasis for as long as necessary to get that person to the hospital and through surgery. Maybe a person could even be operated on while in stasis. If a kind of torsion technology is used to walk through walls or even fly craft through solid bedrock, then it might be possible to even operate on a person without cutting into the body. If today’s technology can’t handle the job then maybe the person could be kept in stasis until such technology is developed. Such a thought then leads to time travel capabilities where a person is kept in stasis for ten, twenty, forty years and then brought back to regular time. In the future with life extension possibilities a person could even live for a very long time once they came back to standard time. This idea suggests the possibility that if large numbers of people decided to go into stasis for extended periods of time that might help solve the overpopulation problem. How about transportation technologies? In a few decades we could be looking back at cars and airplanes like we think about horses and buggies. Atmospheric craft and spacecraft would be lifted and propelled by torsion propulsion systems around the globe and into the vastness of space. There would be no expensive infrastructure of roads and bridges to build and maintain and no environmentally damaging expensive fossil fuels to burn for propulsion. With less materials needed for infrastructure, and better and more efficient recycling of materials, there would be less need for mining of the earth. How about trash disposal? That which was not recycled could be simply destroyed or decomposed by torsion field generators into manageable recycled products. How about creating new alloys, fabrics, composite materials through use of torsion fields? Think of the advancements in materials technology. Torsion fields and time compression can make normally opaque substances transparent so this would open up huge opportunities into seeing through normally opaque objects or even into the earth itself. The greatest impact that torsion field generators may have on our civilization initially would be to make the environmentally destructive fossil fuels industry obsolete almost overnight. Torsion field generators would replace expensive polluting fossil fuels with cheap, efficient non-polluting energy and so free up huge economic resources for the feeding and housing of our ever expanding population. New Inventor Group

Just after the Deluge, at the dawn of the present time cycle, an era the
Egyptians called Zep Tepi, "The First Times", a mysterious group of "gods"
appeared to initiate the survivors in the rudiments of civilisation.

From Thoth and Osiris in Egypt, to Quetzacoatal and Viracocha in the
Americas, traditions worldwide subscribe the origins of contemporary civilisation to
this sophisticated group. Despite the popularity of Von Danikan journalism,
evidence from around the world indicates these people were the hi-tech
survivors of the previous civilisation.

Like the nuclear survival bunkers and secret research facilities of our own
civilisation, there were those who arose from the underground "cities of the
Gods" after the dust settled. They were the "prediluvian patriarchs", like
Enoch and Methuselah, the "giants and heroes of old", mentioned in Genesis.

The enigmatic gods of ancient Summer, Egypt and India all hail from the
fabulous times before the Flood. Since the declassification of the new groun
d-penetrating radar 2 years ago, the most staggering data has emerged of complex
and labyrinthine underground systems in various parts of the world.

At places like Guatemala in Central America, tunnels have been mapped under
the Mayan pyramid complex at Tikal which extend a full 800 kilometres to the
opposite side of the country. Investigators remarked, it was possible to
understand how half a million Mayan Indians escaped the decimation of their
culture. In similar fashion, the SIRA radar was deployed in Egypt as early as
1978, mapping an extraordinary subterranean complex beneath the Egyptian
pyramids.

Arrangements made with President Sadat of Egypt, resulted in three decades
of top secret excavations to penetrate the system. At a recent meeting in
Australia, one of the key scientists on the Giza project, Dr. Jim Hurtak, showed
film footage of work in progress called, Chambers of the Deep, due to be
released at the end of the century. The film reveals the discovery of a vast
megalithic metropolis 15,000 years old, reaching several levels below the Giza
plateau. While the rest of the New Age speculate about a hidden chamber under
the left paw of the Sphinx, the legendary "City Of The Gods" lays sprawled
beneath complete with hydraulic underground waterways.

The film shows massive chambers the size of our largest cathedrals, with
enormous statues the size of the Valley of the Nile carved in-situ. Researchers
risking their lives with lights and cameras, carefully negotiated rubber
dinghies across subterranean rivers and kilometer-wide lakes, to penetrate sealed
chambers beyond.

Already, remarkable caches of records and artifacts have been found. It is
the legacy of a civilisation and a technology beyond our own. A technology
capable of creating a vast underground city, of which the sphinx and pyramids
are merely the surface markers.

The project scientist Dr. Hurtak, likens it to the impact of contact with an
advanced extraterrestrial culture. He described it as the discovery of the
Fourth Root culture, the so-called Atlantean civilisation, destroyed by the
last earth tumble. It presents unequivocal evidence that all languages,
cultures and religions trace back to a single common source which Dr. Hurtak refers
to as the "Parent Civilisation"The project scientist Dr. Hurtak, likens it to

According to Dr. Hurtak, this was a culture who cracked the genetic code and
possessed the keys of the physical spectrum - the "Higher Light Physics" of
the ancients. Everything old Gilgamesh went searching for in his famous trek
to the lost "City of the Gods" to search the tunnels beneath "Mt. Mashu" in
the desert lands.

Hurtak refers to a "language of light" and a great priest-scientist of the
previous time cycle named ENOCH, who is associated with the building of the
Great Pyramid complex Hurtak alludes to a grand spiritual science, a science
which describes a genetic stairway to the stars. The priest-scientist ENOCH is
a prediluvian patriarch, one of the most famous and seminal characters of the
previous time cycle.

Father of Methuselah and great grandfather of Noah, Enoch is credited in the
Bible as architect of the original Zion, the legendary "City of Yahweh", as
well as inventor of the alphabet and calendar. Enoch is also historys first
astronaut, who "is taken aloft by the Lord" and shown "the secrets of earth
and heaven". He returns to earth with the "weights and measures" for all
humankind.

Known to the Egyptians as THOTH the "Lord of Magic and Time" and to the
Greeks as HERMES "messenger of the gods", he is remembered in the Celtic
tradition as the enigmatic wizard Merlin, who disappears up an apple tree to mythic
Avalon, seeking the secret of immortality and vowing to return.

As one who attained immortality, the secret of how we "might become as
gods", Thoth/Enoch promises to return at the end of time "with the keys to the
gates of the sacred land."

In the controversial Dead Sea Scrolls, revealing the lost Books Of Enoch
removed from the Bible by early religious leaders, Enoch describes a wondrous
civilisation in the past who misused the keys of higher knowledge and were
unable to save themselves from the last cataclysm. Both literally and
figuratively when they lost the "keys", they lost all higher knowledge. Yet, Enoch,
along with many traditions, even the Mayan legend of Quetzacoaeal, promises a re
turn of this knowledge at "the end of time" the end of the present time cycle.
Biblical Revelations promise "all will be revealed" at the end of the
present world.

The extraordinary discoveries in Egypt and other parts of the world,
describe not just an advanced technology but an evolutionary path beyond our present
state. Careful scientific examination of the worlds key pyramid sites,
reveal them to be sophisticated harmonic structures, not only mirroring positions
of the planets and stellar systems but, designed to mimic the chakras and
harmonic cavities of the human body.

Each stone within the Great Pyramid is harmonically tuned to a specific
frequency or musical tone. The sarcophagus in the centre of the Great Pyramid is
tuned to the frequency of the human heartbeat.

Astonishing experiments, conducted by Dr. Hurtak and colleagues at the Great
Pyramid and other sites in the America's demonstrate the pyramids to be
voice-activated "geophysical computers."

Intoning specific ancient sounds, the scientific team produced visible
standing waves of light, above and within the pyramids, and were even able to
penetrate, hitherto, inaccessible chambers. Subsequent discoveries indicate the
ancient priest-scientists employed some sort of harmonic sound technology
within the temple structures.

The lost Enochian knowledge reveals the mother tongue as a "language of
Light" known to the ancients as HIBURU, it is the primal seed language,
introduced at the beginning of this time cycle. Modern research confirms the most
ancient form of Hebrew to be a natural language, the alphabetic forms emerging
from the phosphene flare patterns of the brain. The same shapes, in fact, born
of a spinning vortex. It is a true language of light coursing through our
very nervous system. Encoding the natural waveform geometries of the physical
world Hiburu is a harmonic language, mimicking the waveform properties of
light.

The "keys" Enoch speaks of turn out to be sound keys, keys to the vibratory
matrix of reality itself, the mythic "Power of the World".

The Enochian knowledge describes sonic equations encoded within the ancient
mantras and god names, capable of directly affect the nervous system and
producing profound effect of healing and higher consciousness states.

As the ancient texts declare, "If you would speak with the gods you must
first learn the language of the gods." DNA, the ancient cabalistic "Tree Of
life" portrayed in the Biblical Torah, is now coming to be viewed as a live
vibrating structure, rather than a fixed tape recording.

Many modern scientists regard DNA as a shimmering waveform configuration,
able to be modified by light, radiation, magnetic fields or sonic pulses. The
legacy of Thoth/Enoch suggests this "language of Light" the harmonic science
of the ancients, could actually affect DNA.

The evidence in Egypt, indicates this was the grand 6,000 year genetic
experiment attempted by the Egyptians. It is the quest for immortality and the
stars, a quest described by the great ones of old initiated by Gilgamesh so very
long ago. The Egyptians were not fixated on the afterlife as thought by
early Christian translators but, focused on creating a higher type of human. They
believed DNA came from the stars and was destined to return.

The knowledge of Thoth/Enoch implies humans are meant to evolve beyond our
present terrestrial form. As the Bible tells us "we may become greater than
angels."

The Egyptians record stories of the "Star Walkers" occasional individuals
who, like Enoch, travelled "beyond the Great Eye of Orion" and returned to walk
like gods amongst men.

Despite the bleaching of semi-divine beings from modern consciousness, could
it be possible, as the ancient texts insist, we are destined to "become as
gods"? Are the Mayan "Lords of Light" and the Egyptian/Tibetan "Shining Ones"
really a higher form of human?

According to many earth legends, such beings are supposed to return
regularly, at the beginning and end of each time cycle, the 13,000 year half-point of
our solar systems 26,000 year zodiacal orbit around galaxy centre. Because
of conditions on our galactic orbit, these 13,000 year intervals or "worlds"
seem to be separated by cataclysmic upheaval.

According to the "calendar in stone" of the Great Pyramid, which describes
the so-called "Phoenix Cycle" of our galactic orbit, the present time period
ends converted to our present calendar) in the year 2012 AD.

The Greek word PHOENIX derived from the Egyptian word PA-HANOK, meaning "The
House of Enoch". The Enochian knowledge suggests these regular cataclysmic
changes act as an evolutionary agent provocateur, to quicken the resident life
forms to the next evolutionary phase prior to exodus from the womb planet.

Human evolution may proceed more rapidly than previously thought. The
evidence now appearing records civilisations before us who mastered the physical
continuum and progressed beyond this world. There were also those who failed.
We, too, have equal opportunity to make it or break it.

The discoveries emerging from Egypt describe the existence of a world wide
pyramid temple system in prehistory, mounted like antennae on the key energy
meridians, which were employed by ancient priest-scientists as a musical
system to stabilize the tectonic plates of the planet, cataclysmic geology at its
finest.

From the mother tongue word JEDAIAH, meaning "the way of the Word" or "the
power of the Word", the ancient JEDAI priests used the language of Light to
tune the planet like a giant harmonic bell. Much is being rediscovered in the
last days of this time cycle. In the words of Dr. Jay Franz, of the Omega
Foundation, "even if we don't dare to name it, there is a universal feeling of
something impending on the world stage."

In 1977, a secret federal virus program produced 15,000 gallons of AIDS. The record reveals the United States was represented by Dr. Robert Gallo and the USSR was represented by Dr. Novakhatsky of the diabolical Ivanosky Institute. On August 21, 1999, the world first saw the flowchart of the plot to thin the Black Population.

The 1971 AIDS flowchart coordinates over 20,000 scientific papers and fifteen years of progress reports of a secret federal virus development program. The epidemiology of AIDS is an identical match to the "research logic" identified in the five section foldout. The flowchart is page 61 of Progress Report #8 (1971) of the Special Virus program of the United States of America. We today, challenge world scientists to discussion of this document find.

We believe there is a daily, growing number of world experts who are all coming to the same conclusion regarding the significance of the flowchart. Dr. Garth Nicolson has examined the flowchart as well as other top experts from around the world. It is time for Dr. Michael Morrissey of Germany to examine the flowchart and report to the world. In addition, we have now examined the 1978 report. It is heresy to continue to further argue the program ended in 1977.

The 1978 report of the development of AIDS leaves no doubt as to the ("narrow result") candidate virus sought by the United States. The flowchart conclusively proves a secret federal plot to develop a "contagious cancer" that "selectively kills."

Following the presentation of the flowchart in Canada, the same information was presented to the United States in the rotunda of the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland. Shortly thereafter a major African newspaper called and for four days in a row, this issue was the feature story in an uncensored press. The people of Africa already know about the U.S. virus development program. It is time for the rest of us to know.

In January, the U.S. had no response to my two page abstract submitted to the African American AIDS 2000 conference. In February, the U.S. Congress had no response to the 3000 Americans who signed signature petitions calling for immediate review of the flowchart and progress reports of the secret virus development program. We firmly believe once the dust settles from the current election marathon, reviewing the special virus program will be the single most important pursuit of the 21st Century.

More scientists and doctors must join with Dr. Nicolson, Dr. Strecker, Dr. Cantwell, Dr. Horowitz, Dr. Lee, Dr. Wainwright, Dr. Halstead and Professor Boyle. In any public debate on this issue, we will continue to present the flowchart of the secret virus development program, as the "irrefutable missing link" in the true laboratory origin of AIDS.

We have successfully navigated a federal maze and matrix and found a curtain surrounding the issue of AIDS. The 1999 discovery and presentation of the AIDS flowchart is a "smoke detector" wake up call. Society has an obligation to do more than don masks.

Re-Growing Organs: the Future is Here

The Overrated "Masters" of the Universe

There are those in our midst who seem to believe that, once again, man is on the thresh-hold of discovering the answers to the final secrets of the Universe. This is undoubtedly an echo from the final years of the nineteenth century but, after that period of premature claims, one might have expected a little more reticence from the modern godfathers of world science.

However, sensibly keeping quiet does not seem a virtue of these people, to the extent that, on two recent Monday evenings on British television, the public has been given the opportunity to participate in the life and achievements of the ‘Master of the Universe’, Stephen Hawking. While no-one can but admire his courage and tenacity in the face of extreme physical handicap, one must question the power and importance of his scientific achievements. Indeed, when it comes to discovering the secrets of the Universe, precisely what are his achievements?

Many will be horrified at these words and the seeming impertinence of this question, but it is a question which must be asked, and answered, not because of Hawking the man, but because of what he represents. He is, in fact, in the eyes of many, the figurehead of that largely faceless body which controls what is, and is not, contained in that body of scientific knowledge which may be termed conventional wisdom; that body of scientific knowledge which is simply not open to question. Many topics are included in this but those of immediate concern here are probably the theories of relativity (both special and general), the theory of the ‘big bang’, the theory of black holes, etc.

As Stephen Crothers has recently pointed out, this final topic should really be a non-starter, based as it is on an incorrect statement of Schwartzschild’s solution of the Einstein field equations. However, again as Stephen has pointed out, even the incorrectly quoted ‘solution’ is included in, and protected by, conventional wisdom. One further surprising aspect of much of conventional wisdom is that the originators of much of this body of knowledge would have welcomed discussion and even criticism, provided that criticism was constructive. In this day and age, however, people who disagree with conventional wisdom do not face discussion and constructive criticism; rather they are either quietly ignored or destroyed. The first of these is possibly the more destructive action occurring in modern science because if something is quietly ignored, it gains no publicity and so remains unknown, except to the favoured few. This brings me directly to the whole idea of an electric universe.

Electric Universe - a natural alternative?

I first encountered the notion when reading the small book Rival Theories of Cosmology, which was published by Oxford University Press in 1960 and contains a ‘symposium and discussion of modern theories of the structure of the universe’. Originally there had been three talks on BBC radio and to these had been added a short discussion of the main points advanced in favour of relativistic theories of the universe (essentially what we now know as the big bang), the steady state theory, and an electric universe. Interestingly, there seemed no major disagreement between the advocates of the latter two theories, but both were at odds with the relativistic theories. To some extent, such is still the case but possibly the divide is increasing.

More recently, I have read The Electric Universe and have been further shocked by what I’ve read. Shocked because I was made even more aware of the power being exercised by the scientific mafia to protect accepted theories; shocked because, although I was aware of the work of Kristian Birkeland through contacts in Scandinavia, I realised that he was totally unknown to colleagues, some of whom work in plasma physics. To me, all this raises grave questions about the conduct of modern science.

However, another point which emerged very forcibly from my reading was the realisation that, although the conventional ‘big bang’ school rules out all interference from outside and demands that everyone describe everything in terms of the gravitational force, the electric universe adherents, while being able to describe so much, so accurately, make no attempt to rule out gravity completely even though it is such a weak force by comparison. This open-mindedness and unwillingness to completely ignore something is surely an indication of the true way of science.

When all is said and done, man produces models to describe something which, whatever else it may be, is certainly not man-made. All these man-made models are approximate. What else could we expect from our relatively puny human intellect? Nevertheless, because of all this, nothing should be thrown away. As someone once said of the conflict between the big bang and steady state theories for the origin of the universe, probably the true answer will involve aspects of both.

The power of math

One further point needs stressing, I think. I was initially trained as a mathematician, although my degree did involve two years of subsidiary physics. Over the years, I have come to realise more and more the power of mathematics but also the fact that that power can be misused. Mathematics is a beautiful subject and can be studied, in its own right, as a highly worthwhile intellectual pursuit. However, mathematics has a second role as the language of physics and, in that rôle, it is simply a tool which must always remain subservient to the physics. If the mathematics throws up a result which does not accord with physical reality, it should be studied carefully but not accepted immediately unless a genuine physical interpretation can be found; the physics must never ever be made to fit the mathematics!

In our modern world, though, the mathematics being used to attempt to describe physical reality is becoming ever more complicated so that only the favoured few can follow. String theory is a perfect example of this, where many of the personnel involved are abstract pure mathematicians with little or no real interest in physics and yet huge claims are made of the advances in physical understanding coming from that area. It seems that many are claiming to be close to establishing a theory of everything.

What is meant by this is not completely clear but presumably it involves a grand unification of the fundamental forces. This I find intriguing since, as yet, no-one even knows exactly what a force is. Newton’s second law of motion is said to define force but actually it only explains what a force does! This is true of all forces; what they do is well known but precisely what they are remains a mystery. No; whatever extreme claims are made, the truth is that there is much to learn and discover and real advances will be made by people working together, rather than competing with one another aggressively.

It seems it is time for all clear thinking true scientists to band together to oppose the present day prostitution of science. The scientific mafia may hold the power of when and where people can, and cannot, publish; they may hold most of the research purse strings; but, in the end, the search for the truth must, and will, triumph!
